Recent updates

• 5/5/08 - After an entire day of downtime, I have upgraded to the fastest possible internet connection in this area (10MB down, 896KB up)
• 5/4/08 - I have increased the number of backend servers from 1 to 3 (now using carolyn & mail as backend servers in addition to their current jobs)
• 5/2/08 - I have doubled BluWiki:Ashelley's RAM to 2GB
• 4/30/08 - I have switched from BluWiki:Carolyn to a second server, and am now using lighttpd instead of apache(which should be faster).

Current infrastructure

BluWiki:Ashelley - Main server, handles all incoming requests

• • BluWiki:Carolyn - Backend, does PHP5 & MySQL processing
  • BluWiki:Mail - Backend, does PHP5 processing & mail (obviously)

Main server runs Lighttpd. PHP5 is processed on main server and both backend servers using fastcgi & xcache. Carolyn runs all MySQL queries. To reduce database load and increase speed, all servers run memcache.
