Notes on MERCK letter
- Problems:
- Does not address the letter
- Takes no responsibility
- A lot of vague verbs
- An example of a company giving bad news that is "brillantly abstract & vague"

- Are you choosing to do it or do you have to do it?
- Use "you" attitude: put your self in the place of the person receiving the letter!

- Reasons
- Long-term bonds coming due
- Excess merchandise
- etc.
