Definations

"A 2 year clock." You have two years after you're touched in a offensive way to file a civil lawsuit in the Tort of Battery. Exception: for under age persons, clock starts when you turn 18.


NOTE: Major felonies against the person in Virginia don't have any statute of limitations at all. This is for CRIMINAL cases, though, not civil
