Cale

From BluWiki

(110 FS - 138 FS) Brother of Sir Dyne Ulrich and son of Sir Devon Ulrich.

Cale was inducted into the Dogs of War by Ghaleon Ebonheart shortly after the fall of Altair to the Fire Legion.

Cale took to the organization quickly, rising in status within the group. He was always more brash than Ghaleon, but he was ruthless and competent. When Cerberus was slain in the conflict with Soirse and the Seekers of the Star, Cale was named as his replacement. He helped Ghaleon in his ill-fated attempt to break the ice devil Thraxis' power over him. Though absent for the fight, he was seen attempting to retrieve Ghaleon's corpse from the collapsing ruin. After this event in 135 FS, he took up Draconis and posed as the fallen warrior, leading the Dogs of War in Darvin. He always wore the dark armor of his former master, helmet included, and his similar stature gave credence to the ruse.

When Cyrus was revealed to be the real Ghaleon, Cale gave up his guise and took the helm of the Dogs of War himself. Briefly romantically involved with Elena, he grew to hate Aldaren Sterenfeuer for stealing her away from him. Aldaren bore Cale a similar distaste, and set a trap to stop him.

Led to believe that Aldaren and Elena were vacationing alone at his estate, Cale led a sizeable band of Dogs of War to reclaim his lost love. Upon his arrial, Aldaren waited for him alongside Cyrus, Cale's brother Dyne Ulrich, Ceralin de Roisin and Oleron Lethos. Cale rejected Aldaren's offer for redemption and challenged the warlock-ambassador to a duel. The resulting fight was bloody and fierce, but Cale eventually relented, and Aldaren accepted his surrender.

However, Cyrus was overcome by the power of his old blade Draconis and used it to slay Cale in a moment of weakness.
