The Solar Exalted are the most powerful of the Exalted. They are the champions of Unconquered Sun. In the current era, the Second Age of Man, the Solars are returning to the world en mass for the first time in thousands of years and they have the ability to change the course of history and the fate of nations. In the First Age of Man they were the rules of Creation.

In the First Age, their achievements were a becon to humanity but due to the Great Curse they became corrupt and decadent. Because of this, the Dragon-blooded rose up in revolt against them and murdered most of the Solars, imprisoning most of their essences away from the world. Those Solars who were not imprissoned continued to reincarnate and were systemetically hunted down and killed by the Wyld Hunt. Now considered to be Anethema (due to the teachings of the Immaculate Order), they are believed to be monstrous demons - feared by anyone who knows what they are.

While they lack the ability to specialize in the shapeshifting of the Lunars, the raw death-dealing of the Abyssals, the elemental manipulation of the Terrestrial Exalted, or the Fate-weaving of the Sidereals, their raw prowess in most skills easily exceeds any of the others, and the mightiest of sorceries are their purview alone. Their two greatest advantages are their large essence pools that give them more raw power to work with and their ability to use the highest of all forms of sorcery, that of the Solar Circle.

Solar Exalted Castes

There are five castes of Solar Exalted.

Dawn Caste

The dawn caste are the warriors and generals of the solar exalted.

Zenith Caste

The zenith caste are the priest-kings of Unconquered Sun.

Twilight Caste

The twilight caste are the scholars and occultists of the solar exalted.

Night Caste

The night caste are the spies and assassins of the solar exalted. They were also the health experts of the Solar Deliberative during the First Age.

Eclipse Caste

The eclipse caste are the ambassadors, diplomats and negotiators of the solar exalted.
