Edgard Benton

(108 FS - ) Edgard Benton, firstborn son of a minor noble family in the service of the Figaros, served as a clerk for Figaro shipping interests in Altair. He was a friend to Ghaleon Ebonheart and had frequent contact with the man. This led to his involvement in negotiations leading up to the Torvald Affair. After the fall of Altair, Edgard retreated to Port Rameau with his fellow Figaro supporters.

Since his 134 FS flight from Altair, Edgard has acquired a ship and established his own import company under the auspices of the Figaro family. He has recently had contact with Ceralin de Roisin, Oleron Lethos, and Aldaren Sterenfeuer negotiating passage on a ship in exchange for the trade rights to an alleged dragon egg.

In retribution for this slight, Edgard balcklisted Walter de Roisin, Ceralin's merchant father. When she refused to perform the underhanded tasks he required to lift the ban, Ceralin was forced to seek other means, ulitmately helping her father flee Port Rameau to start afresh in Altair.
