Erebus
From BluWiki
The god of earth before Golond, Erebus reigned during the earliest days of Primus. His children were the duergar, dark-skinned, underground dwarves that likely served as the model for true dwarves. In those early days, Erebus longed for the love of Lena, but he was unrequited. Sensing an opportunity, Vrojk approached him with a deal. In exchange for the creation of a blade capable of slaying a god, the lord of war promised to secure Lena's affections for Erebus.
The old god used the remains of the First Black Dragon to create the sword, which he named for the progenitor of all dragons, Draconis (god). However, during his labors, Erebus discovered that Vrojk had been insincere with his promise, so subtly he added some of the remains of the First Silver Dragon to the blade as well. Though this infusion increased the weapon's power, it divided its nature, plunging Draconis into unending conflict with itself.
Eventually, Vrojk gave Draconis to Kaine, a human who used it to slay Vivec. For his part in the violation of the Old Laws, Erebus was stripped of his divinity and exiled to his realm in the Elemental Chaos, where he resides to this day.
In 138 FS, he was visited by Ceralin de Roisin and her compatriots and entreated to reforge Cardiclast, the silver half of Draconis. Though he was but a hulking, metal-clad shadow of his former self, Erebus called upon his remaining power and tested the would-be bearer of the sword. Upon the adventurers' success, he reforged the Silver Dragon Sword, equipping Ceralin to face Thraxis the ice devil.
