Ezekiel
From BluWiki
(116 FS - 135 FS) Ezekiel, or Zeke, as he was called, grew up in Westerwale, near Southgate on the border of the Wilderness. He and Soirse were inseparable friends, spending their days exploring the lands around their village and marveling at the glory of nature. Both taken with the beauty of the world, they both knew that their lives would be dedicated to protecting and preserving it. While Soirse set out to accomplish this by undertaking the druidic path, Zeke entered the priesthood of Layla.
In time, the lands around Westerwale began to dry up, and their fertility began to wane, so Soirse and Zeke left their homes to travel to Altair in hopes of finding a solution. There, they were taken under the tutelage of Orrin Bannock, a prolific elemental scholar. They studied together, eventually striking out on their own separate quests to save Westerwale's ecology. In time, Soirse's fateful journey began with the receipt of a poisoned letter from the Shadow Veil, but Ezekiel enlisted in an adventuring group led by Sir Valentine and Sir Gareth Ebonheart.
Traveling with the two knights and Relena, the young priest found himself involved in many adventures. His group traveled north, clearing foul undead from a dwarven mine. They quested across the counties Regai and Gro-Bannor, holding the Fire Legion at bay, and they stood fast in Altair when it fell under siege. After the city fell, Ezekiel was among the first to join Sir Valentine in his Resistance movement. And when his companion fell, wielding Cardiclast in a duel against Ghaleon Ebonheart, Ezekiel mourned alongside his fellow adventurers.
Soirse made her flight from Darvin in an attempt to resurrect Vivec, and Ezekiel quickly agreed to help protect his dear friend and avenge the killer of his former companion. He fought alongside Sir Gareth and Kerrick in the final confrontation.
In 135 FS, he joined Soirse, Malcolm, Gareth, and Relena in a coalition effort to defeat Ghaleon. Though their efforts were successful, Ezekiel gave his life in the battle, falling under a blow from Draconis.
