Haunted School

Haunted School is a fictional novel. It is part of the "Titanic Book" Collection series. This book won the Best Story TBC Awards 2005.

[edit] Plot summary

Aran, Brandon, Rinda, Kenneth and Wei Xiong were at ACS (Junior) as they were on a mission to track down ghost as there has been a lot of ghost-sighting. They receive a few ghost-tracking devices and split-up up into three different groups.

Kenneth and Wei Xiong were just outside Computer Lab 1 when they saw a chair moving inside the lab. They entered the lab but run out when they saw a white figure.

Aran and Brandon were then at the lift staircase at level 1 when the elevator door open. They turn around and saw the same white figure Kenneth and Wei Xiong experienced and ran away. They then walk to the P5 EM3 Classroom. The corridor's light flickered and then died out. One of their ghost-tracking device detected something. They then did an experiment with a matchsticks and a candle Aran brought.

Rinda was at the running field when one of her ghost-tracking device detected something. She walked over to the tennis court but was "zapped" by the Reaper (with was the white figure).

Kenneth and Wei Xiong was at the school's library when they saw the Reaper. They quickly ran out of the library but Kenneth was locked inside and cannot get out. The Reaper then "zapped" Kenneth.

Wei Xiong then met Aran and Brandon and he explained everything. They then rushed to the tennis court and they saw Rinda unconsious. They tried to wake Rinda up but got "zapped" by the Reaper instead.

Aran, Brandon, Rinda, Kenneth and Wei Xiong woke at the auditorium and the Reaper appear. The Reaper tried to kill them but Aran magically took out his shotgun and killed the Reaper. The director of the movie (Mr Peter Tan) then "cut" the filming and asked Kai Kein (who acted as a Reaper) whether he's alright. The director then asked if the cameraman (Mr Albert Wong) if he recorded the filming but the cameraman forgot to press the record button.

• At the start of the novel, Aran, Brandon, Rinda, Wei Xiong and Kenneth split-up into three different groups and search the different areas of the school. This is a references to Scooby Doo.
• At the end of the novel, Aran magically took out his shotgun. This is a mini-references to Harry Potter and the Halo series.
