Jim Harpur

James "Jim" Harpur was active in the War of Independence and was a member of an IRA Active Service Unit.

Was arrested at the buring of the Custom House during War of Indepence. Was imprisoned in Kilmainham Jail.

Fought on the Free-state state side (pro-treaty) during the Civil War. A photo of the certificate commemorating this is available here
