Joe Nuxhall

From BluWiki

Joe began his soiree in baseball with the Reds, when, in 1944, he pitched for Cincinnati at the age of 15. He is the youngest-ever major league baseball player.

He went on to hit the booth, becoming a color commentator for the Reds. He had that position until he semi-retired in 2004. He still hits up the booth now and then, when Marty or Steve are away.

His signature call was his signoff, when he would proclaim, "This is the Old Lefthander, rounding third and heading for home."

It is true that he sometimes falls asleep in the booth, but the Lefthander is one hell of an amazing old dude.

At least, the Red Reporter thinks so.
