Feel free to experiment, add, delete text here before editing the main text. You can always revert to a previous version of the text for any page, but some people might be more comfortable trying out their wiki skills in a less conspicious spot. Try copying and pasting some text in here, or correcting my typos or splleing.

Here's some text to play around with. Add bolded text by tossing three apostrophes on either end of the text. Go ahead, try! You can always fix it, and I won't tell anyone :)

br in chevrons is "break line" and is sort of like hitting the enter button in MS Word. putting a word in brackets creates a link to a new wiki page (see main page for details in the edit mode)

O Captain! My Captain! By Walt Whitman

O Captain! my Captain! our fearful trip is done,
The ship has weather'd every rack, the prize we sought is won,
The port is near, the bells I hear, the people all exulting,
While follow eyes the steady keel, the vessel grim and daring;
But O heart! heart! heart!
O the bleeding drops of red,
Insertformulahere Where on the deck my Captain lies,
Fallen cold and dead.

William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet, Act I, Scene iv, lines 49-103 Setting: A street.

Romeo I dream’d a dream to-night.
Mercutio And so did I.
Romeo Well, what was yours?
Mercutio That dreamers often lie.
Romeo In bed asleep, while they do dream things true.
Mercutio O, then, I see Queen Mab hath been with you.
She is the fairies’ midwife, and she comes
In shape no bigger than an agate-stone
On the fore-finger of an alderman,
Drawn with a team of little atomies
Athwart men’s noses as they lie asleep;
Her wagon-spokes made of long spiders’ legs,
The cover of the wings of grasshoppers,
The traces of the smallest spider’s web,
The collars of the moonshine’s watery beams,
Her whip of cricket’s bone, the lash of film,
Her wagoner a small grey-coated gnat,
Not so big as a round little worm
Prick’d from the lazy finger of a maid;
Her chariot is an empty hazel-nut
Made by the joiner squirrel or old grub,
Time out o’ mind the fairies’ coachmakers.
