History

Early History

After Mackenzie ran away from the hospital, she started looking for Batman to become his sidekick, then eventually anyone to be the sidekick of, until becoming sick of that and wanting to start her own superhero team! She met Blaire and dubbed her Paranoia, then made her join the group. The two on their way to find a base ran into TMI-X7 who asked if they needed someone who could find them an airship-base... TMI then snatched their credit card, and came back a bit later with an intelligent airship (they never asked how) and that is how L.O.V.E. was born!

The Flying Gentleman

The-Flying-Gentleman.jpg
The Flying Gentlemen is L.O.V.E.'s ship. The aircraft itself is capable of traveling around the world very quickly, designed to be itself capable of independent powered flight. The ship itself is regularly piloted by TMI through their odd technological link, however all L.O.V.E. members can command the ship through verbal commands (the ship itself is capable of remembering their speech pattern, to identify their voices) even though said verbal commands are most often capable of being overwritten if two or more L.O.V.E. members will it. When it comes to commands however, TMI has the final call if she literally "speaks to it" This is because The Flying Gentleman is an intelligent (living) airship, capable of thought (and speech if psychics or machines try to communicate with it) because of this the ship can sometimes make it's own decisions when it sees them fit.

Most importantly, the ship makes decisions that will preserve it's life, and the life of those aboard it, making it useful when someone is giving it absurd commands. The Flying Gentleman has a few Un plasma canons, capable of Un force fields to Phys, Eng, and Psy. The Flying Gentlemen also posses a teleporter, used to transport the members to and from the ship.

The Flying Gentleman is capable of some speech. The speech sounds like the calls of a whale, near impossible to understand by most humans. (though the tone is easy to figure out if it disproves or approves) Those with Reasoning above Spectacular can understand it's speech however. Flying Gentlemen is said to be a Levithan. (ala Farscape) Leviathans are sentient spaceships. They are an engineered race, made sentient by the Builders. Leviathans are made of both biological and mechanical systems, and are therefore biomechanoid. They have a thick outer skin capable of keeping a pressurized atmosphere inside, and also generate a bioelectric field that can keep small openings in the hull from venting atmosphere. Holes in the hull are repaired by symbiotic organisms called Hodian trill bats, whose excrement is a sealant. Other maintenance details are handled by mechanical DRDs, terrier-sized droids that the Leviathan manufactures.
