• Primitive plants appear on land
• Early fish, seaweed, fungi
• Simple organisms
• Lots of water, cold on earth, volcanic
• NA, Sask under shallow sea
• Huge glacier and extinction at the end

Basic Stuff

• Many new animals replacing previous from Cambrian
• Names come from Celtic tribe that once lived where there are rock strata from this time
• Picture says there were many complex life things
• 3 epochs, Bala, Dyfed, Tremadoc (Last came recently from Cambrian)
