MAHI-MAHI is a great seafood restaurant in Guayaquil which offers the best fusion of Ecuadorian sea cuisine with Mediterranean cuisine. The menu contains an exquisite variety of dishes with authentic flavors, such as ceviches, risottos, salads, among others. Also, it offers drinks for each kind of dish, such as Argentinean wines, cocktails and others.

MAHI-MAHI was inaugurated in May thirteen of 2007 by Karla Zambrano Valarezo, who used a Polynesian name for her restaurant which means gold fish. Since then, it is aimed at the mid-high and high level segment of the market and is known as the best harbor for seafood lovers.

MAHI-MAHI is located at the North area of the city,Colina de los Ceibos, Leopoldo Carrera Avenue in the Plaza Ceibos mall

Environment and Entertaining

Decorated with wood masks and rustic style wood called Muyuyu and Bejuco, MAHI-MAHI posses an original style and atmosphere where groups of friends and families join together to enjoy music videos and sport events in screens, while having a very pleasant taste of seafood at the internal or external part of the restaurant to enjoy the delightful tropical climate of Guayaquil.

MAHI-MAHI counts with the presence of its owner every day in order to supervise and manage the waiters� attention that clients deserve.

Attetion schedule

From Tuesday through Friday: from 12:00 pm to 3:30 pm and from 7:00 pm

Saturday and Sundays: from12:00 pm

Special Services

Clients have the opportunity to request for any additional service such as reservations for special events, banquets for companies, delivery, among others.


Tasting Menu

MAHI-MAHI offers an extraordinary menu in which seafood is combine and scents with fine herbs, spices and local and imported ingredients of first quality such as olive oil, garlic, saffron, parsley, dairy origin butter, among many other.

Chef

Chef Jose Azar Andrade, of Lebanese origin, was born in Guayaquil-Ecuador.

Jose graduated from the prestigious Hudson College of New York and has been chef and has acquired great experience in different countries like, Argentina, USA and now in Ecuador. He is also a professional diver which gives him the opportunity to capture the best shellfish for his clients.

Jose specializes in seafood and offers a wide variety of Gourmet Mediterranean Cuisine. Definately is a prestigious opportunity to try his food.
