Open Windows (Will o' Wisp)
Open Windows is the 9th video in the Will o' Wisp Series.
Transcript
(Light in the woods picture with "old video" effect, a phone dialing two numbers is heard.)
Overlay: Ever have one of those days...
(Ringtone, music starts.)
Overlay: ...when just four seconds changes everything?
(A woman's muffled voice (frightened).)
Overlay: You can't keep secrets from me. Not anymore.
(Gunshots, and a scream, faded picture of an upper-floor window in a house.)
Overlay: All I need is a four second focus.
(A round attic window, with light coming from it. The phone hangs up, dial tone.)
Overlay: One open window...
(A noose hanging from an attic ceiling, another attic shot of boxes and such.)
Overlay: And I know...right where you are.
(Picture of a star. Someone (Bell?) sitting underneath it, closeup of the person.)
(Woman whispers: "Oh my god." Pictures of hands with fingers missing.)
Overlay: I can't take her to a hospital. I'm sure 'Doctor Gone' will be on duty. Can't go to the cops...for obvious reasons. Abel, this is your job. She's your charge, not mine.
(Skewed picture of woman's eyes.)
Overlay: Your responsibility. But still...
(Picture of a man's foot, and then a dirty bare foot. A flame, then sparks, bigger flame, a large fire spreading, more fire, burning buildings.)
Overlay: I guess I can forget about that memory card, huh.
(More burning buildings. A police scanner is heard, a car is seen, then a hand, then a Bell's face with eyes closed, the inside of a car. More sparks. A sunrise over trees.)
Overlay: We drove to a familiar spot. Gone will have his hands full for awhile, I think. Just the same, It's probably best to get her far away from that place.
(A beach.)
Overlay: Of course, I can't go back either. Not after what I just did.
(Dead trees on the beach.)
Overlay: It was worth it, though.
(Another dead tree, a tree shaded path.)
Overlay: She'll be waiting here for you.
(Bell sitting in a field.)
Overlay: But I'll be gone by then. And the seal? Well, I might just hang of to that for awhile...
