Red Hood

This is a simple tale about a man named "Jack". No one knows where he sprang from, or who he was before but he came onto the scene as the Red Hood, as one of the many colorful crime fighters who rose to face new menace of Gotham known as Owlman I. Of course, he was one of the few which survived the Owlman family as well as Crime Syndicate's efforts to "remove" the crime fighter problem. Red Hood would have been one of those casualties, as Owlman flung him into a bubbling vat of chemicals in the Ace Chemical Plant.

But Red Hood survived. But not unscathed. He was disfigured by the chemicals, and was nearly driven mad. He did in other worlds, but here, he is merely "bent". He doubled his efforts and continued to be a thorn in both the Owlman family and The Syndicate's sides. As the years went by, he encountered another colorful crusader, Molly Mayne aka Harlequin. They became partners, than lovers. It was during the great culling of the 80s that the couple fled to the protective borders of their friend and ally, Victor Von Doom, as he established his hold upon the continent of Europe. There both Harlequin and Red hood were wed. Soon they were the parents of Jay Mayne, who would grow up to become the hero, the Jokester, having inherited both parents flair and crime fighting styles, as well as his fathers altered appearence, albiet reversed in certain aspects. When Jay was old enough, and the culling had ended so time ago, Red Hood (among other leaders in the Justice Underground), founded a JU division, his placed in Gotham City, called the House of Cards, comprised of the remaining Gothamite crusaders. There, he and his wife returned to the "Good Fight", as well as fighting alongside a new generation of heroes, which included their son, and his own wife, Giggles (Harley Quinzel). Its their combined laughter in the face of danger that echoes in the shadowy night skies of Gotham City, bringing smiles to the downtrodden and helpless alike...all at the expenses of their oppressors of course.

Enemies

A constant thorn in the sides of all members of both Crime Society and Syndicate, but he is the nemesis of Owlman II, the remaining member of the Owlman family.
