Introduction
This Wiki was created because of a project in Oteam @ HTHLA.
This week, we studied the surveillance system in our schools. It was a shocking
experience to know that all my moves were probably being watched in areas that
I had previously thought extremely private. So i created this wiki to
outline a guide to get through the school without getting videotaped.
Entry/Great Room/Commons
The only front entrance available is the main one (if you are a loner) but if you have
a friend who comes in early, you can have him open up the leftmost door for you.
Now, here's the tricky part. In order to not get caught on camera you must avoid
the great room and the commons all together. You can do this by utilizing the
classrooms to their full advantage, which is basically a camera-free door to the
other rooms.
Classrooms and Hallways
The classrooms and hallways are pretty much "clean"(read:there are no cameras)
The only exception is the Oteam project room which is watched
by a camera in the
adjoining alcove. Also they are a quick way to get outside
using the classrooms that
have an outside door
Backyard
The backyard is safe if you sit back far enough. But, you must remember:
don't use the Great Room! instead use the small hallway to the side.
This method also gets you past the camera in the backyard, which (if you
didn't know) is a good thing.
Side Yard
The Side Yard is clean inside the walls. the cameras are mainly pointed
outside to prevent vandalism so there is no coverage inside the walls.
this is also a way to make it from the west side of the school to the
east side.
Closing
Using the strategies outlined here you can be on the way to be unnoticed
at HTHLA.
