RTGS TV

RTGS TV, derived from the initials Reality Television Game Show Television, is a 24-hour, English-language television channel based in Singapore and Raffore Islands. Fomerly known as Singapore Reality Television, it was founded in late-spring 2008 by Aran Ho Yeow Yong, together with Sam Shapiro, due to Singapore's increasing demand of reality shows. It is known co-owned by Raffore Islands Broadcasting Network (Risbon) and MediaCorp.

RTGS TV airs famous reality shows from the United States such as The Amazing Race, Survivor, Big Brother and American Idol, and general adaption of overseas productions such as The Amazing Race Singapore and Survivor: Singapore, both from the TBC Collection which was also owned by Aran. In June 2008, the founders of the former SRT have signed a contract with MediaCorp Singapore to air MediaCorp Singapore's reality programmes such as Live the Dream, Singapore Idol and Deal or No Deal.
SRT has a number of original series not included in the TBC Collection. They include Hot Plate, a cooking series similar to Hell's Kitchen and Iron Chef, Surf's Up, a series to find the next great Singaporean or Rafforian pro-surfer, and Platform, similar to America's Next Top Model.
