Slyde is the 2006 Most Valuable Commenter winner, which is supposed to get him a copy of the 1975 World Series DVDs. Rumor has it that those DVDs will be in the mail any day now.

Update9/23/06: Slyde has received the DVDs. He has three days to preview them for quality issues and return them to the store with a receipt, if unsatisfied.

How does one get to be the Most Valuable Commenter winner, you ask? Well, it starts with the realization that people believe whatever they read on the internet if it is in table or graph format. And then you just go from there. Plus, paying a few readers off here and there doesn't hurt either.

Slyde has a Utility Belt and is not afraid to use it.

Slyde is also a natural leader. After hearing the "you're not the boss of me" posturing from dissidents on Red Reporter Day, he promptly handed out the tickets. The malcontents in the crowd, suddenly in charge of their own destiny, grumbled momentarily, then simply followed him to the HOF[1].
