TBC Collection, or formerly "Titanic Book" Collection, is a collection of hand-written or computer-written stories or comics by Aran Ho Yeow Yong. The collection was first created in 2005. In December 2006, Aran decided to go "high-tech" and he started to use the computer to write stories. Independence Day 2 was the first book to be created on computer. Their is currently no plans by Aran Ho to released the books to the public although Aran wish that it will happen.
There are currently a total of 38 books, with the latest book, Friendship Series Short Stories: Insults, released on July 7, 2008. Most of the books are a sequel of famous movies such as Independence Day 2, which is the sequel of Independence Day. Haunted School is the first book that is not based on any movies.

[edit] Birth of "Titanic Book" Collection
The history dates back all the way to spring 2005 when Aran was in Primary 6. Aran was sitting beside his two classmate, Brandon and Wei Xiong, during class. The lesson was so boring which made Wei Xiong to draw comics. After he created a few more comics, Aran then have a idea for his comic. Aran went home after school has ended and he then started to write a script for the to-be comic, Titanic 2. The script was then finished and he brought it to school the next day to show it to his partners. Wei Xiong, after he saw something "insulting" about him on the script, tore up the part one of the script. Most of the piece of the script was recovered fortunately and Aran then re-write part one of the script once he reach home after school.
The script was done and, instead of making a comic, Aran make a book out of it. The finished book was then bought to school. However, when he was showing it to his partner, his form teacher confiscated the book as the mid-year examinations was around the corner. After the mid-year examinations, his form teacher returned the book back before the June school holidays. After the books were returned, Derek ask Aran what did the teacher gave him. Aran then told Derek what it was and Derek ask whether he could read it. Aran then passed him the books to let him read it. In less then a week, Aran's book has spread around the whole class and his books became popular. A third book was then created in May 2005. During the June school holiday, a total of seven books have been created, the highest record so far.
After the June school holiday has ended, the "Titanic Book" collection became secretive and by September, the whole class has probably forgotten about it. To bring the "popularity" back, Aran decided to bring the whole "Titanic Book" collection to school after the end-year examination and before the December school holiday. The popularity of the book began to rise again and some of the classmates wanted to read it. The first positive comment Aran has received about the books is from Nicholas Ho, Aran's classmate. He said that, "This story is nice." referring to the book Haunted School. On the last week of school in 2005, the lyric of the Coca Cola Lime song, from the famous advertisement about the Coca Cola with Lime, made an appearance in the 19th book, The Day After Tomorrow Part 2. The lyrics was seen by those who read that particular book and some of these people who had read it wanted the lyric from Aran. The lyrics was then given out to the people who wanted it on the last day of school in 2005. By the end of 2005, a total of 22 books were made.
[edit] Lack of Creativity Period
In 2006 however, a major crisis had began. The Lack of Creativity period was started as the creativity had started to fade away. More and more proposed book were cancelled which slowed down the number of books that were released. By the end of 2006, eight books were only released, the lowest record so far. Despite the crisis that was going on, some of the classmate from 2005 still remembered about the collection and this almost caused the popularity to increase.
The year 2007 currently holds the records for releasing the least number of books, with the first book, Friendship being released in May. Despite the bad news, several good news have happened on that year; the first being that the popularity of the Collection has increased. The first two people who read the book on that year, Anderson and Ezekiel, his classmates, on January. Three months later, Aran told his classmate, Jonathan, about his userpage on Wikipedia and Aran told about it to Darren on the following day, with two of his other classmates have heard about it.
On May, Aran talk about his collection to the whole class for the Speech examinations. After the speech, his classmates, Nigel, Ezekiel and Jeremy, wanted to read his books. Nigel managed to read it before the June school holidays while the other two didn't manage to and ultimately, they have forgotten about it. After the June school holidays, Gopalan read a part of The Amazing Race Singapore 4, fearing that he may lost at least a book from the collection if he brought it home to read it. With the release of Mysterious Death, the Lack of Creativity period has completely gone (this is the second good news). The TBC Awards was then created on 26 September.
[edit] Popularity Increase
During a visit to his friend's house, Aran shared his Friendship and Friendship 2 with his friends and they said that his two stories should turn into a drama serial, with their reason as the story is well-plotted. Some of them even have the link to his website as they wanted to read the story about Friendship. Two of his friends, Reuben and Yacob, even gave their ideas for the "Titanic Book" Collection. On October, Aran showed his collection to his form teacher and some of his classmates about the collection. However, one of his classmates that he showed to, James, complained that there are too much homosexual rape in the Friendship series. Makoto, James, Timothy Quek, Jeremy and Yacob told some of their ideas to Aran to include it inside his upcoming project, The World We Live In, which was complete by the end of 2007.
Also in 2007, two new projects have been planned: the fifth installment to the Friendship series, codenamed Friendship 4, and Survivor: Singapore. Friendship 4 is plotted to tell the story about Asher, Brad, James and their family. It was actually planned to be released on February 2008 to celebrate the 3rd anniversary of the "Titanic Book" Collection. However, the releasing date was pushed back to somewhere later in the year 2008. The other project, Survivor: Singapore, was created despite the failure of the other previous Survivor projects. It is now planned to be released on February 2008 to celebrate the 3rd anniversary of the "Titanic Book" Collection.
[edit] 2008 onwards
On 1st January, "Titanic Book" Collection was renamed to TBC Collection. In addition, it's logo got redesigned.
The release date for Survivor: Singapore was pushed back later in the year 2008, allowing the new project, The Gangster's Story, or The Amazing Race Singapore 5: Racers Revealed, to be release on the 3rd anniversary of the TBC Collection (February 2008). The first book released this year was The Amazing Race Singapore 5: Racers Revealed, released on 13 February 2008, during the third anniversary of TBC Collection.
The Amazing Race Singapore 5 is in the stages of planning. The spoiler has disappointed some TARS fans, but intrigued many. Apparently, the spoiler might be true if Sam is working on this project.
Towards the end of March, Sam, an American, knew Aran from Wikipedia and he asked Aran to become a contributor of the TBC Collection. He was eventually accepted and is now currently working on Survivor: Singapore.
Although Survivor: Singapore is planned to be released on February 2008 to celebrate the 3rd anniversary of the TBC Collection, the releasing date for the whole story was delayed further due to major changes to the game plans. In addition, although each new episodes are expected to be release each week, the releasing date for the first episode was pushed back to April 2008 despite being promised to be release in March 2008. In addition, due to Aran's Mid Year Examinations and a 5 days long school camp, he is unable to release very single episodes within the planned schedule. Currently, Episode 5 has been way behind schedule by almost a month.
Currently, there has been some progress on the fourth installment of the Friendship series. It is rumoured that Sam will be working on the plot with Aran.
Since 11 June 2008, all progress on all of the TBC Projects are currently on halt due to technical failures. The cause of the technical failures is due to a computer breakdown and computer overheating. Despite the fact that the technical failures have been fixed on 18 June 2008, all previous datas related to the TBC Collections have not been restored yet, meaning the datas for Survivor: Singapore and Friendship 4 is still missing. This means that Episode 6 of Survivor: Singapore has been delayed for about a week as on 19 June 2008. To make matters worse, a possible cancelation on all current TBC Projects is possible. Luckily, all of the data has managed to be trasferred to the new hard drive and all TBC Projects has been resumed.
During the first week of July, Aran and his two friends, Edbert and Deng Yang, had created a combined blog for the stories the three of them had created. However, it became inactive a few weeks later with only two stories posted onto the blog so far.
On July 7, Aran had released Friendship Series Short Stories: Insults, making it the second story to be released in 2008.
Currently, all TBC Projects have been on halt since 18 August due to decline in Aran's school grades, making it the second time that the TBC Projects have been on halt this year. Despite the halt on all TBC Projects, two new plots have surfaced. Also, there has also been some progress on Episode 6 of Survivor: Singapore. On 29 September, Aran had announce that progress on Survivor: Singapore will resume in October, with Episode 6 to be done as soon as possible. Despite the announcement, no physically progress has been seen and has probably been cancelled.
Since September 2008, all projects for the TBC Collections have been on halt, despite plans for reviving the Collection by writing a plot for a new version of The Amazing Race and expaning the Friendship Series. From June 2009 onwards, all projects are officially on halt and most upcoming projects might be cancelled. On 20 October 2009, stories that contains sexual content and poor storyline has been removed from the website due to concerns of underage viewing the content. The NC13 rating has also been changed to NC16.

To make matters worse, a heavy downpour accompanied with lightning make the condition of the survivors worse. Find out if the survivors manage to escape in time before the water sipping into the cave-in drown the trapped survivors.

| Paranormal Murder
| A bachelor recently moved into an apartment unit that has been said to be unoccupied for almost a decade. Rumour has been spreading around about a teenage boy haunting the unit. However, the bachelor decided to continue to stay in the unit, claiming that he had lived with a ghost before and he is not afraid. A few weeks has gone by and nothing weird has happened until one day, at the library, he was researching on the internet for his project when he stumble upon an news article about the death of a teenage boy. Shockingly, the teenage boy died in his apartment unit. Also, no one know who killed the boy. The only evidence was a blood clot on his neck, suspecting that the boy had been strangled by someone. That was the only evidence. No sight of break-ins. No sight of robbery.
Ever since then, the bachelor had been experiencing weird things around his apartment unit. Glass were broken. Newspaper were thrown everywhere. Items were misplaced. Even blood marking were seen on the mirror. The bachelor, however, was still not afraid and decided to stay in that unit until he has found out what has happened to the teenage boy. As he continue to investigate, evidence by evidence, it appears that the events that has happened to the teenage boy prior to his death what somewhat the same of what the bachelor was experiencing. Getting curious, the bachelor tried to contact anyone who know the teenage boy. However, he could find any contact until an old man approached to the bachelor one day...
Who was that old man? Who killed the teenage boy? What will happen to the bachelor? Will he be also killed mysteriously? Find out in this story when it had been released.

| Kinship
| With both of their parents dead three years ago when their plane, which was flying back to Singapore from Beijing, had crashed into a jungle in China, 15 years old Jack and his 12 years old sister Mary were all alone at home, depending on one another for their survival. With their constant relative's support though money and healthcare, both Jack and Mary are able to survive in a three-room apartment unit and managed to excel in their education. However, two years ago, Mary was almost raped by a total stranger and was ever since traumatized by the incident. Ever since then, Jack will always have to sacrifice his time just to take care of his sister, whether it's during school hour or not. His job of taken care of his sister became a little easier when Mary graduated from primary school and study in a secondary school relatively close to Jack's secondary school. Due to this, some of Jack's and Mary's classmate and teacher knew about this caring and loving relationship of Jack's to Mary.
However, one day in Mary's school, Mary's friends just tease her a little bit by pretending to try to molest her. Being over-reacted to thie incident, Mary ran out of school and was never to be seen again. Jack was then quickly informed about this and rushed down to her school to find out what has happened. After finding out the truth, he scolded Mary's friend and, together with his and Mary's friends and some of the teachers from both school, everyone began to search for her. A few days passed and Jack had made a missing report about her sister. The news spreaded country-wide and now everybody knew about the relationship between him and Mary, including their family background. Almost immediately after this, eyewitness from both Singapore and Malaysia reported seeing Mary travelling to Malaysia via the Causeway, together with a man. Afraid that she was being kidnapped, the authority from both countries made a joined-search to look for Mary. However, no one has seen her since. Feeling heartbroken, Jack almost committed suicide and wanted to quit school, but with the help of his relatives and with the constant government support, he persevere with the troubles he had and move on in life.
Months past and Jack didn't heard anymore news about Mary until one night, he received a strange SMS, asking him to meet at the place stated on the SMS. The location appears to be an abandoned warehouse in Kranji. Jack then explore the warehouse to search for the person who SMS him. Through further searching, he discovered that the warehouse was used to store paper. He then enter a big room and the whole place smells like petrol. To his surprise, he saw his sister all tied-up and unconscious. Fearing Fearing that someone is planning to burn them alive, he desperately attempt to untie his sister and tried to wake her up. The moment she wake up, Jack was so delighted and hugged her. Mary, too, was also glad to see him. Mary then warned Jack to get out of the warehouse as one of their uncle was planning to burn the whole place down. As they were about to leave the room, the uncle appeared and congratulate Jack in finding his sister. Jack then confront his uncle why he wanted to do this. The uncle simply explain that he wanted back what Jack'sfather owned him - money. The uncle then lit up a lighter and throw it onto the ground, creating a fire that surrounds Jack and Mary. The uncle then ran away, leaving Jack and Mary trapped. The fire then caused the abondaned warehouse to be engulfed in flames within a minute. Knowing that they are going to die, Mary told Jack what had happened to her during these few months. Both of them then hug one another, like it's going to be their last time they will see each other. Will both of them get rescued? Or will both of them die? Find out when the story had been released.
