Temple Heliopolis (ZorinXL)
Temple Heliopolis is the 9th video in the ZorinXL series. It is the first video by AsarHapi.
Transcript
(African/drum music is heard. A badge with a crescent moon and 3 stars (blue and gold) is shown. Egyptian?)
Overlay: In the beginning there was only water, a chaos of churning, bubbling water called Nu. It was out of Nu that all things began.
(A sun quilt.)
Overlay: Then the sun god Ra appeared out of primeval chaos, he came out of an egg that appeared on the surface of the water. He, by hinself, gave birth to the air god Shu and his wife, Teftuit the goddess of moisture.
(Pillar ruins.)
Overlay: Shu and Teftuit gave birth to the sky goddess, Nut and the earth god Geb, and so the physical universe was created.
(Some sort of carving.)
Overlay: Men were created from the tears of Ra which fell to earth. He ordered the blood to cover the bones, and the skin to enclose the body.
(Half of a sculpture of a man. It is cut off at the waist.)
Overlay: The first of flesh and blood was Ka-Serket-Narmer. Nut gave birth to Osiris, Horus the Elder, Seth, Isis, and Nephthys successively.
(An obelisk.)
Overlay: Osiris became the god of good, while Seth became the god of evil. And thus the two poles of morality were fixed once and for all.
(An inlay of elephants.)
Overlay: Osiris succeeded Ra as kind and ruled the earth with Isis, his sister. Seth, however, hated his brother and killed him.
(Another inlay.)
Overlay: The powerful charms of Isis resurrected Osiris, who became king of the underworld, the land of the dead.
(Pyramid and sun quilt.)
Overlay: Horus, who was the son of Osiris and Isis, defeated Seth in a great battle and became king of the earth.
(Seals and something shiny.)
Overlay: I, Asar Hapi, descendent of the line of Ka-Serket-Narmer, head of the Temple Heliopolis have dedicated my life and fortune to the reunification of the ancestral triad

Overlay: to their rightful place as heirs to the throne of Ra, Osiris and Horus.
