Creating A keyboard With Predicition
Setting up the cells
- First you need to press F11 to turn the screen into edit mode.
- Now create a new grid. From the File menu, select 'new Grid' and give the grid a name.
- You will need a grid 13 columns by 11 rows. You can create rows and columns in a number of ways:
- Either: Right click over the arrows at the top and left of the grid display. The context menu will allow you to add rows/colums at the required position.
- Or: Using the 'Add/delete a row' link in the explorer bar. The explore bar will then change to show a checkbox to stop adding/deleting rows. When the mouse is over a row it will show red and a click will delete the row. When the mouse is between rows it shows blue and a click will insert a row.
- The first column will hold the autoprediction cells so they should be two columns wide.
- Click in the top left cell. It will become selected. You can then drag the edge of the cell to make it two cells wide.
- Repeat to make all cells in the first column two columns wide.
- To make the cells autoprediction cells select them, either by dragging around them with the mouse, or by <Ctrl>clicking them. Once they are selected, make them autopredict cells by selecting the 'Auto Content Cell' option in the explorer bar.
- Now resize the workspace cell to be 10 columns wide by 4 rows high.
- Now enter the keyboard cells. To edit the contents of a cell, either double click it select it and then select 'edit' from the cell options. As its a keyboard cell, there is no entry in the vocab box, but you should enter the letter in the 'keyboard key' box. There are special
