The president shall not pass any laws that do not help the country. The president has no power besides the ability to block laws, thus not doing a whole lot. Until an act to remove the prime minister is enabled I shall shoot down EVERY law that comes to my desk. I shall work to remove the corupt government that is now installed in SIN.

The President of the Small Island Nation is quite obviously a moron. This makes him the perfect figurehead to be used by the ruling coalition of oligarchs. He is kept sheltered from the machinery of government by the Prime Minister. The President is unable to enter the chambers of Parliament, and thus the P.M. serves as a sort of life-line between the two branches of government.

The President turns to the Prime Minister as his chief advisor, and the P.M. has hijacked many of the Presidential perogitives including the veto of legislation (a functional veto performed by not transporting the laws to the President for signiture), promulgating and issuing writs (the writs are still signed by the President, but are also countersigned by the Prime Minister; it is believed that the writs and executive orders originate in the office of the Prime Minister), and the publishing of the Presidential Web Page (this).
