History(Now that theres no need for mystery (Gods/Goddesses forbid we have any of that). Here is the Backstory behind the Timebreaker...revealed to as the Master) Childhood and early lifeAt the age of eight, when as part of an initiation custom commited by the members of his race, the Galifreans (aka the Time Lords) he was taken before a gap in the fabric of space and time known as the Untempered Schism, from which one can see into the entire Vortex. It has been stated that looking into the vortex causes some Time Lords to go mad, implying that event to have been the cause of the Master's future actions and the four-beat sound of drums, which the Master called the "drums of war". Aims and CharacterA would-be universal conqueror, the Master wanted to control the universe. His ambitions was described as becoming "the master of all matter", with a secondary objective of eliminating and/or hurting the Doctor. His most distinctive ability is that of hypnosis, by fixing them with an intense stare. He would often use disguises and mind control to operate in normal society, while setting up his plans; he also tried to use other alien races and powers as his means to conquest, such as the Autons and the Daemons. The Master is as a suave, charming and somewhat psychopathic individual, able to be polite and murderous at almost the same time. Early on in his rise to infamy, while working alongside the Daleks and the Ogrons to provoke a war between the Human Race and Draconian Empires, he attempts to kill his nemesis, shooting the Doctor and then disappearing from the conflict as his plans were falling all around him. Quest for new lifeWhen the next was seen of the Master, he reappears as an emaciated, decaying husk, at the end of his Thirteenth and Final life (the Galifreans have an innate ability to live 13 times before final death, each death resulting in a radical change in appearence as well some changes in personality, but fundamentally the same person). Given the severity of his situation, this Master is much darker than before. Here, the evil Time Lord almost succeeds in his plan to restore himself to full life with the symbols of the office of President of the Council of Time Lords, the artifacts of Rassilon. The Doctor stops him because the process would have caused the destruction of Gallifrey, their shared homeworld. The Master, however, succeeds in renewing himself by taking over the body of the Trakenite scientist named Tremas, overwriting Tremas's mind in the process. The Master continued to seek other ways to extend his life – preferably with a new set of regenerations. Life after deathBut his unsuccessful plots finally led the Master in being caught, tried, and executed by the Daleks as a punishment for his "evil crimes" agaisnt the Dalek Empire. But, The Master survives his execution by taking on the form of a small, snake-like entity. This entity escapes and slithers inside the Doctor's TARDIS (Aka Blue Box) console, forcing the vessel to crash land in San Francisco. The modifications and alterations that the Master has made to his body over the years in attempts to extend his lifespan have allowed this continued if vastly changed existence, and the implication is that the "morphant" creature is actually another lifeform that the Master's consciousness possessed. The morphant form is unsustainable and requires a human host, and it possesses the body of Bruce, a paramedic. Bruce's body, as it turns out, also unsustainable and begins to slowly degenerate. In one final attempt at life, The Master attempts to access the Eye of Harmony, a powerful artefact able to steal the Doctor's remaining regenerations, but instead is sucked into it, sent into a neverending oblivion...that is...until now.. =Reborn as the TimebreakerThe Exiles, A force of "good", who scour the multiverse, "righting" the "wrongs", and correcting the incongrueties in the stream of space and time. But what defines "Good"? This is but a concept developed by mortal beings. There is only balance, to those who're stationed above all beings, mortal and otherwise. And balance has been tipped. The Timebroker, this "Mistress of Time" and her Exiles, have abused the privilieges given to them, and this must be corrected, balance must be restored. And from the spark wrought by the Agents of the Timebroker, the genesis of the Timebroker will come to pass. Where the current Timebroker was plucked from life, her opposite would be plucked from death. From the abyss between worlds and space-time, this Timebreaker was re-born, and given both power and position equal yet opposing to that of Jade, charged by forces which drive all universes. His mission is to seek destruction and corrupton of worlds, to purge away both "cancers" and the infected "tissue" entirely. But the Timebreaker will go further that that. He is recruiting his own set of "Exiles", but unlike the Mistresss, he doesnt want agents. He wants lieutenants, for a legion shall be formed. Manipulating powers primordial, especially that of emotions, the Timebreaker will find his lieutenants , ones to weild rings of such darkened power. And then, he will begin the systematic cauterization of "imperfect" worlds, beginning with the Mistress of Time's home Earth. The Master played this new role perfectly, scouring various Earths until his ranks swelled with Dark Lanterns under his control...but now the final battle between The Master and the Mistress begins...but even if the Master loses and perhaps destroyed...will it truly be the final chapter...?
