Food and raw material production formula

(1 + 0.1 per agriculture tech level + 0.1 per minister farming level + 0.1 per planet quality +10% above +0%) times your agriculture infrastructure times your racial modifier = food production

The raw material formula is the same. One food sells quickly at 15, raw material sells at 3 on the realtime server, so the maximum agriculture income on a farming X system without the race mod is:

(1+ 25.5 for tech + 99.9 for farming trait + 2 for +200% farming world) = 128.4 food and raw material per planet

128.4 food times (15 for selling food + 3 for selling raw material on realtime server) = 2311.2 credits per planet per turn.

Then multiply by your racial modifier; for collective that +100% which means 4622.4 credits per planet per turn, the maximum agriculture income in the game.

Food and raw materials sell quickly (immediately if you give small discounts) and will grow if you spend your turns anywhere.

Commercial formula

($3.49117578 + system bonus) x (Minister Level + IRL + Race Bonus) x total planets in system

Where system bonus is the % bonus given to commerce infrastructure for the particular system, IRL is the current commerce infrastructure completed.

So for a Terran on say a capital level 1 system with they would recieve $5.54162 a turn per planet, whereas a Terran with a max capital system would make $36.41636 a turn per planet (Both numbers assume no minister or IRL).

Tax income formula per population-maxed planet

(pop / 2) + ( ( pop x loyalty / 5000) x racial attribute)

Where pop is equal to ((housing * 10) + 1 per housing tech level) multiply by 2 if collective

This is the best income you can have while still not using turns on it.

A large population also provides more honors for getting vassals, faster empire levels, which results in various empire improvements especially the advanced space programs for easy planets. (-;

Notice that tax income isn't worth much without a minister to improve; population consume 1.5 credits of food per turn each (which is exactly their max income without a racial modifier or minister). Train your minister before you start!

Mining formula

Unknown, but the best income possible for most races. Unfortunately it takes away all your turns, preventing you from doing research/combat/other things and receiving mining income at the same time.

Some people switch to Aspha miners and do only mining for the purpose of training all their ministers fast, then switch to their permanent race.

Note that terrans have a +500% bonus at mining terran metal, and that for some reason other races seem not to find terran metal systems to mine resulting in a high price and low availability for terran metal on the market.
