Ulozi is book sorcery. Instead of spell taken from guarded tomes, they are taken from holy books or even just classic books and histories. This kind of magic is common in Earthly East Africa, using verses from the Bible or Koran.

Gaining spells from , Ubantu's Misafu amounts to having access to all colleges. Assume at least 1 spell per page, and all that can be found have been found, minimum 120. Go ahead and select the spells from Magic, but *randomly*. Prerequisites are also random, but some spells do have them.

Mlozi must have a -10pt Pact(Taboos), which are often random and personal. Ulozi spells take longer than standard GURPS Magic, from 2 to 15 seconds. *None* take one second. This counts as two levels of Takes Extra Time, -20%. Using a minor book or chapter that gives you 20 spells is One College, -40%, this is scalable for odd numbers. -60% + -1%per spell.

Jomu is an Mlozi and Ogre-phile. He is fluent in Kizimwi (Ogrish), and has (spontaneously) chosen "Wisdom, Riddles and Folklore of the Ogres" by Long-in-Tooth, one of the first Ogre Mzimbanjeji scholars. The book is fairly well researched, yielding 20 spells.

Notes: 1)This is Hide Lies with the following modifications: Regular, resisted by Spell Subject will be able to lie undetectably. The spell automatically fools the Detect Lies skill, a contest of spell skills is required to negate Truthsayer or lie undetectably while under influence of Compel Truth spell or Detect Lies spell. The spell only works at night. Genre: Communication and Empathy Duration: 10 minutes. Time to cast: 5 seconds. Cost: 3 to cast, 2 to maintain . Prerequisite: None. Scrolls in Ulozi:

Require same casting time. Trigger can be anything you want, but nonstandard (ie, other than "Read Out Loud") takes 1.5x as long. Cost in energy: cost to cast plus 1/hr of writing.
