I love to play all kinds of sports. The sports I love to play the most are basketball, baseball, and football. Not only do I love to play sports, but I also love to learn about sports. For instance, the person who invented the game of basketball was James Naismith. He inveted the game of basketball because he needed a indoor sport to play with a relatively small space during the harsh winters. My favorite basketball players and one of the greatest to play the sport of basketball is Michael Jordan.

I also know a lot about football. I know all the rules, the players and how it was created. American football was created in 1823 when William Ebb Eliss was the first one to noticed to pick up the ball in a rugby match. Ever since that day the rules changed creating american football. The man who has been changing these rules is Walter Camp who edited the rules of football till his death in 1925. My most favorite football player would be Brian Urlacher because I also play middle line backer so he is my inspiration.

My last, but my most favorite sport is baseball, americas pastime. The origin of baseball is based off the game of cricket in Englang. It was played in the Colonies as early as the mid-18th century. The game was already called "base-ball" in a children's book of 1744. Essentially, a batter had to hit a pitched ball and then run the bases (from one to five of them) without being tagged or "plugged"(hit by a ball thrown by one of the fielders).A special Commission of 1907 concluded that baseball had been "invented" by the Civil War hero Abner Doubleday, in Cooperstown, New York, in 1839. But it was actually Alexander Joy Cartwright of New York who established the modern baseball field. In Cartwright's rules of play, however, plugging was allowed; a ball fielded on one bounce was an out; pitching was underhand; and the game was won by the first team to score 21 "aces" (runs), in however many innings. One of my most favorite baseball players is Ichiro Suzuki because he plays for the Mariners and he is really good.
