| Nearly May day/Labour day in the UK. And this year, Britain is celebrating the 200th anniversary of abolishing the trans-atlantic slave trade. This makes May 1st in 2007 particularly significant, especially when one considers those who are still in forced labour or poor working conditions around the world today. So I'll be eating only fairly traded or locally produced food on Labour Day. | ||||||
