The Department of Mystic Affairs and Endeavors also known as D.M.A.E. or D-may is a special and one-of-a-kind government branch that monitors, sets standards to and enforce the safe use of magics within the general populace and to prevent abuse.
- To protect the common interests of the mystic and mortal populace.
- To educate the values and principles that all magic is based upon.
- To ensure the safety of all magics and acknowledge the benefits and dangers of spells and incantations.
- To promote the fusion work of Magi-Technology.
History
From the beginning the United North American States in pre-solterran Earth the wonders of the Awakening Age have brought magic back into a technologically advanced world many have even used it in a time of conflict that which brought upon the events leading to the Starlight Ultimatum.
Under the New Government
The department has a rough history when it was first established under the senate review regarding the still evident rise of new magics virtually running dangerously high even the tension of manipulation from others using magic.
