De-Universal Zone or the Dooze as many have called it is a phenominal string of quantum energy that trails across from universe from universe like a string of beads. Some say it is a natural wormhole that is able to cross into parallel worlds but because of unstability ships that travel through this stream are destroyed.

Recenly because of improvements of Ka-Tao traveling technolgy it has made it possible to cross through the stream and into the next universe. This in turn became a potential threat of security to vunerable worlds. Multiple governments are taking the responsibility to protect the zone.
