As the sucessor of the Merlin Class of starships of the Solterran Naval forces. The Solterran Starship Sorcerer (SX-1174) is the flagship of the newly created Sorcerer Class. Developed in the Osirius Shipyards and spawned from the newest technology from the Vela Organization, Starlight Corporation and the Solterran Government itself to create the nation's first starship with an new terrainium-based allow known as "Terrainium-G" which its composition is classified.
What also makes the Sorcerer special from its powerful predecessor, is that it's the first ship to use the experimental Field Instantaneous Displacement Drive or "Blip Drive" as many now come to call it. And known for its extraordinary speed and maneuverability for a ship its size.

Origins of the Sorcerer
After the attack on Prime Earth by the Ka-tao, the Space Naval branch of the Solterran Armed forces cannot rely on it's current fleets especially for the reliance of their behemoth starcraft. After the Presidency of Zedore Fireheart-Runeflame a presidential notion for a new fleet is placed but unfortunately there were no takers.
During times when the Capitol system was in serious internal duress under threats from the isolationists and the growing intelligence of Mobius's Dominion ever invading into the universes of the Thirteen Realms, The new president Xendrian Maranmore exercised his former Interrealm resources and full access into vital stats. Leading ultimately into the findings of a ultra-ancient alien race known as the Ulnae.
According to their history their race was slowly dying and in dire need of assistance, Interrealm came to their aid and help the race revive itself. In exchange, the Ulnae would offer their services and knowledge to them. It was time for the Maranmore administration to call the Ulnae. Utilizing parts from the ancient starship Merlin's Dragon and combining new elements from Ulnae technology and various domestic organizations.
Manuverability tests came out with amazement thanks to it's new pulse shifters and truss-based frame to keep the ship rigid during sharp turns. Its hull is made out of a powerful new version of the ultra strong alloy known as Terrainium -G but the mixture that goes into the new alloy is beyond classified even from the very government that uses it.
Special Features
Though it is classified the reason because other from the main parties involved it is the Solterran Government that contracted technologies from other worlds kept in secrecy. From those hidden worlds have contributed is what makes the Sorcerer the true successor of the current holder of "Most powerful ship in the thirteen realms".
The Blip Drive
The flagship is one massive experiment to test the next step of FTL travel and that comes in the form of the blip drive a massive spherical core-based drive located in the middle-end of the ship. How it works is when the Blip Drive is activated the twelve field pods eject from the center of the ship and orbit around the craft creating a field around it. When the sphere reaches critical detonation both the sphere and field collapse within the ship making it dissapear out of sight when actually it is in transit between universes in a stationary position meaning it can travel instantaneously without movement only arriving to it's target destination unharmed.
