Wakoka

From BluWiki

The Wakoka people are physically diverse. The four founding cites each were fairly homogeneous, but over the years there has been much exchange. Some features are still associated with certain Clans, but this is not definitive. For the purpose of simplicity, this text uses the Von Luschan's chromatic scale of human skin tones. Numbers 31 through 36 are found in the Empire of the Elephant, and are named as below.

Hair can be coarse or wiry, curly or kinky, but universally black, fading to gray. Many men of Ukoka go bald naturally, which is considered a sign of wisdom. Those that do not will often shave their heads, at least until gray starts to show, which is even more prestigious. Young men do not shave their heads, often preferring elaborate hair styles.
