Ilves, or ice elves, dwell on the artic reaches - usually on great glacier expanses. Some live where glaciers converge with the northern most reaches of the continents, while others live in places too remote to be reached by most other intelligent races without magic. Ilves form close knit tribes built around a patron spirit (lesser god) with whom they venerate and have a symbiotic relationship.
