The Currency of Small Island Nation is the Small Island Nation Currency (or SINC). The SINC is valued at .1242g of Platinum, or approx. $5 USD. The currency is backed by actual platinum bars purchased by the original colonists. However, for all internal transactions, the SINC bill is used, which is a paper currency issued in denominations of 1/5S, 2/5S, 3/5S, 4/5S, 1S, 2S, 5S, 10S, 20S, 50S, and 100S, and copper coins in denominations of 1/5S, 1/10S, 1/20S, 1/50S, and 1/500S.
